  In Going Postal, Terry Pratchett tosses an expert conman into the chaotic mailroom of Ankh-Morpork, where capitalism and nonsense collide. It’s a hilarious romp that scrutinises technology, competition, and the absurdity of the postal system… stamp collectors rejoice!

• Monstrous Regiment

  In a world where common sense takes a holiday, Monstrous Regiment introduces Polly, a woman donning a uniform to join an army of misfits. Pratchett juggles absurdity and sharp social commentary, proving that sometimes, to be yourself, you need to masquerade as someone entirely different!

• The Truth

  Terry Pratchett hilariously explores the chaotic world of journalism in The Truth, featuring William de Worde, an accidental newspaper owner, navigating truth, sensationalism, and crossbow-wielding critics. All while hilariously reflecting reality!

• Moving Pictures

  Lights, camera, aaargh! Moving Pictures is not necessarily the Discworld novel I would hand to somebody who has never encountered Pratchett before, but for anyone already familiar with Ankh-Morpork it is enormous fun. It manages to be a story about movies, fame, ambition and commercialism while also being a very funny adventure involving magic, monsters…

• Small Gods

  In Small Gods, Terry Pratchett hilariously marries profound philosophical musings with a tortoise, as a novice learns faith isn’t just following orders. Who knew religion could be this entertaining?

• Pyramids

  Teppic, a reluctant assassin-turned-king, grapples with tradition and madness in a pyramid-obsessed kingdom. Pratchett hilariously dismantles the absurdity of old customs while giving us camels and existential musings!
