The Bobiverse is basically what happens when you take one slightly nerdy bloke, turn him into an artificial intelligence, launch him into space and then give him the ability to make copies of himself. Obviously, things get complicated from there. What starts as one Bob exploring the galaxy quickly becomes a whole collection of Bobs, each developing their own personalities, priorities and occasional disagreements. Along the way there are aliens, space exploration, big existential questions, humanity-threatening problems and an impressive amount of geeky humour. It is clever, entertaining sci-fi that never forgets to have a bit of fun.
